Traditional banana clove aroma, more on clove side, wheat and breadiness
Pours a hazy light golden color with big fluffy white head
Banana in flavor with wheaty tanginess, subtle clove spice. Well balanced
Light bodied with high co2, sweet lingering banana clove finish.
Very good. Refreshing and interesting. I could drink these all day.

Had a pint of this beer in a bar in San Francisco. The beer had a cloudy straw-lemon color with a modest white foamy head that has average retention, cling, and lacing. It’s aroma featured banana, straw, grain, and some light floral scents,. The taste was mostly sweet, featuring banana, straw, fruit, and other grains, and a slightly sour finish. It had a fairly wet mouthfeel with low carbonation and a smooth, easy finish.

[2/4/16] Draught at Firewood Grill in San Francisco Airport. Cloudy shiny pale yellow. Aroma is yeasty, slightly soapy, with phenolic spiciness, and fruity esters, a bit citric. Rather dry flavor, slightly tart, with fruity esters (banana, citrus), and some spiciness. Medium-bodied. Pretty nice and thirst-quenching.

Once again...likely a too old bottle, not dated, new on the shelf. But I’m pretty sure most hefes don’t have a dusty smell, and there’s a tartness here that doesn’t seem to belong. Too bad, I was looking forward to this, and it’s mixture of traditional banana/clove aspects and a little more prevelant than usual west coast citrus was nice. There was too much wrong with this brew to really gert into it, though. Just ok."

A good offering of the style here from Drakes. True to form, but a bit louder than most.
