Small head pale gold pour mild carbonation aromas banana coriander yeast grain flavours lemon clove banana sweet grainy note spice taste is clear the finish best aftertastes spice not much else the rest is dull

Bottle - Pours hazy yellow with a foamy white head. Nose is mineral, a bit of banana, and a bit of spicy clove. Taste is more of the same--banana, a bit of clove, and lots of mineral. Dry finish with a bit of pear and banana. Pretty straightforward, without the pungency I’m looking for in a hefe. Feels full and soft in the mouth and it’s still pretty tasty, but I was hoping for more.

12 oz bottle. Cloudy yellow with a slim white head. Nose is wheat, lemon and mums. Beautifully crisp and creamy with zippy carb. Taste is green banana, orange and lemon zest, straw and clove.

On tap at Taps in Petaluma. Good hefeweizen, but missing something. Perhaps missing some depth of flavor.

Hazy yellow pour with a white head. Moderate banana aroma, big clove spiciness, yeast, and hints of citrus. Sweet bready malt, some white pepper, and a light tartness. The flavor tends toward the spicy side with a lot of clove, along with some pepper. Good banana, some yeast, orange peel, and a light lemon tartness. Moderate bready malt flavor and sweetness.

Draft. All around pretty good hefe. Very light color, cloudy, white head. Spicy aroma, medium body with carbonation. Not overly sweet but lots of flavor.

It has a hazy golden color with a small head. There is some banana and cloves in the nose. Very refreshing aroma. Taste has some carbonation with mild citrus and a tartness. Easy drinking beer.

Pours a hazy yellow colour with a white head. Aroma of wheat, citrus and surprisingly heavy sweet banana notes. Flavour of wheat, crispy floral hops, pepper, lemon and banana. Medium bodied, soft carbonation and a sweet banana and citrus finish. Refreshing and good.

Pours a barely hazy straw yellow with a big lasting white head. Roasty malt and clove in the aroma with just a hint of banana. Light, dry and crisp with dominant flavor of roasty bitterness, and a lot of metallic flavors from oxidation. Dry, spicy finish with lingering roasted malt notes and metal. I’ll have to taste this fresh.

This was a nice beer, but really lacked the banana flavour or aroma. Mostly Clove and finished sweet. Support sort of a big beer for a heed. But it was decent.
