On tap at Bistro DIPA Fest poured a clear amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of biscuit, earthiness, pine, grapefruit and orange zestr. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, pine, grapefruit and light orange with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a thick beige head. The aroma is sweet and very hoppy giving it notes of grass and grapefruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and lots of hops giving it strong notes of grapefruit.

Good yellowish head over clear red-ruby beer with an orange shine. Chocolate, cat’s pee (valerian), hops, cake. Rich cakey taste with lots of malts - oh, and some hops, BTW. A bit of liquorice (not sweet) and quite liqueurish. Quite thick, oily texture, super slick. Slight burning MF. Heavy duty hops. Balance is, again, quite allright. Nice.

Tap @ 7th Annual Bistro Double IPA Fest (rating from notes). Medium amber color with a laced tan head. Intense hop aroma that lives up to the name. Bitter but clean with some malty cardboard flavors.

Initial smell is big citrus. Cannot wait to taste. Then it gets all muddled. The citrus evaporates. Becomes a pretty strong brew that grows harder to drink.
