Bottle. Pours a cloudy amber with a yellowish head. Okay lacing. Aroma is malt, chewy pine hops with a cheesy touch and slight notes of sweet liquorice. Flavour is fat, malty and with citrus and pine hops. Sweetish bitter finish. A good and solid IIPA, but still lacking that last oomph. 25.09.11.

Bottle, bought @ Skjold Burne, Aarhus.
Clear pale orange-yellow with a medium, frothy, off-white head. A bit fluffy. Aroma is lovely peachy, grapefruit, red apples, resin, grass. Lovely. Low carbonation, super creamy and dry mouthfeel. Flavour is very hoppy, lots of pine, peach, grapefruit, red apples. Super-dry, very bitter finish with some seriously lovely warming feel. Resiny, almost sticky hoppiness at the end. This sure is a hop-bomb!

(22oz bomber thanks to bu11zeye) clear orange with nice lacing and fine white bubbles. Nose of big citrus, orange, dank, and tropical. Taste is big, super hoppy, tropical, guava, pine, spearmint and herbal. Oily body, with a very bitter linger. One of the best DIPA’s I’ve had in a while!

Bottle, 22oz. Slightly hazy, dark golden body and a small, dense, off-white head. Some lacings. The aroma is piney, citrus peel-ish and malty sweetish. Slighlty warming, full-bodied and with a bit too much carbonation. Nice bitterness, both initially and in the end, with pale malts sweetness, pine cones and citrus peel. Lasting finish. Overall, certainly a nice beer, tasteful and all that, but a bit sweet maybe. But I sure wouldn’t mind drinking more of it, anytime. 110917
