Poured a clear deep orange with a small off-white head that quickly dissipated. Lacing seems to be holding up very nicely, however. I am picking up smells of pine, big grapefruit and citrus, and a hint of alcohol. As it begins to warm I am picking up a lot more caramel and alcohol in the aroma. Taste is big pine and citrus, light malt backbone, a touch of alcohol in the middle, with a big bitter finish. I am liking this beer more and more as it warms, very delicious.

Draft from City Beer. Amber orange pout with a thick off white head. The aroma is citrus, grapefruit, and pine, with a touch of tropical fruit. Taste orange, grapefruit, and tropical fruit balanced nicely by the malts.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22oz, no date for $7.99 at OB Quik Stop a couple days ago. Minimally hazy medium orange with a one finger slightly yellowish white head, fair retention. Citrus hops dominate the nose with plenty of herbal and pine woody spice notes to follow. Not too much in the malt presence other than some mild sweetness. Flavor again has lots of herbal and woody spice notes again, with some citrus, light malt sweetness. Dry finish with some alcohol warmth in the throat, big bitterness peaking at a 7.

Poured into a shaker glass, this is the first time Iíve noticed dipa should be in a Tulip glass. Oh well, pours slightly cloudy. Light head and lacing. Aroma is great! Citrus, tropical, maybe peaches as I heard in other ratings. Flavour is similar. Palate is thick, but not as sticky as o others. Very tasty and the alcohol is not noticed at all, very dangerous!

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Appearance: Dull, caramel color. Nice 1.5 finger head.
Aroma: Huge citrus on the nose, tropical fruit but balanced really well by sweet caramel-breadiness.
Taste: Huge hop punch in the mouth out of the gate, chased by a nice malt breadiness. This is a huge, tongue-scraping bitter DIPA, but itís nicely balanced by the malt bill.
Mouthfeel: Dry, sticky sugar finish. Medium mouthfeel
Overall: I feel this is a REALLY well-balanced DIPA. You get the really nice citrusy-pine on the nose and palate, but itís really nicely balanced by what I have to believe is a significant malt bill.
Iíd drink this one every time.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A - Pours a hazy golden-orange with a half finger of frothy off-white head atop. The head fades down fairly quickly leaving behind a bit of lace.
S - The aroma is full of pine and tropical fruit hops including some pineapple and grapefruit. There is some caramel sweetness as well with just a touch of floral elements and a bit of alcohol coming through.
T - The beer starts off with a big hit of tropical fruit hops with lots of grapefruit flavor and some strong bitterness. There is just a bit of sweet caramel malt flavor coming through for some balance. Through the middle, more of the grassy and pine flavored hops hit the tongue with even more bitterness with a bit of floral flavor. The finish is a mix of mango, pineapple, sweet caramel, bitterness, and a touch of alcohol.
M - Medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a dry and very bitter finish that really lingers.
D - Very drinkable. Really big hoppy DIPA. The hop profile is really nice and has a good blend of different hop flavors and the malt is strong enough to keep up well.

pours dark orange with a two finger pillowy head. Tons of citrus and pine aroma, with hints of lemon, grass and slight grapefruit. Very smooth taste, bitter hop finish, but lots of peach, citrus and grapefruit in the middle. It hides the 9.3% very well. Amazing beer, Iím very impressed.†
