Drakeís winter offering is a deep orange monster that is loosely filtered to keep the integrity of the malt & hops intact. Equal amounts of American two row and English pale are combined with two types of Munich malt, and balanced with Chinook, Cascade & Amarillo hops. Enjoy the massive aroma and flavor of this beer. Available January - March.

Bomber poured into pint glass. Aroma and flavor both exude piney green hoppiness with a firm caramel malt background. This is well balanced with no off flavors but Iím just bored of this hop and malt combo.

Bottle shared by a friend. Clear gold pour with a medium off-white head. Nose is big orange right away, along with malt, grapefruit and pine. Malty flavor with some pine before an earthy finish. Very nice.

Wonderful strong hop aroma. Intense hops that I havenít found typical of DIPAs. Mouth feel was perfect.

Bottle. Pours a mostly clear amber color with a moderate white head. Nose was one of the more interesting DIPAs Iíve had - pineapple notes to it and seems light. Nice and a great drink.

Pours amber with a big creamy sandy head. The aroma is juicy and delicious bringing big oily resiny hops, not overly sweet though by any means, and some refreshing citrus. The flavor and body are humongous bringing huge zesty sweet hop notes almost overbearing on my palate personally.

Bomber from Hayduke. We had it together via facebook chat. This poured clear copper and sported a decent beige head. A nice pine caramel aroma. The flavor brings out some truly complex hops. I tasted rye grain first but then pine and citrus. Other hop flavors were tasted but not really identified. There is also all kinds of sweetness but it is almost buried under the hops. Some biscuit and caramel. Bitterness began moderate but grew toward the finish. This brewer spared no hops in making this beer.

Shared with Strykzone via Facebook Chat. Pours a clear amber orange with a large beige head and light lacing.Nose is huge hops with a cat pee aroma. Medium body with a lot of resin. Flavor is grapefruit and pine with a perfect caramel backbone. The finish is very bitter. This is a really well balanced DIPA. Lot to like here. My kind of beer.

Bomber from bytemesis - thanks, Mike! Attractive amber pour, with a light, silky head. Loads of bright citrus in the nose, less prominent malt than Iíve come to expect from Drakeís. Thick, sumptuous mouthfeel with a lingering bitterness on the finish. Peach, orange, and hop oil dominate the taste, with a firm malt foundation bringing things together and giving the beer heft without booziness. Pretty good.

Pours a beautiful, nearly glowing clear orange amber. The off-white head doesnít stick around long, but who cares, because the bouquet is spectacular. Vibrant sweet grapefruit and soft pine that invades the olfactory and dances there like a nice perfume. Thereís a surprising amount of grain in the flavor given the bouquet. Smooth on the front and a little scrubby on the back. Big pine and sweet, dried fruit. A pretty noticeable alcohol warmth. A very nice DIPA.

Draft. Medium amber pour, with a white head. Caramel malt, citrus, bitter hops, sweet, and malty. A well balanced DIPA, and tasty. Not the best around though.
