22oz bomber on 2/4/12. Pours a burnt orange with a 1/2 finger. The aroma is HUGE citrus, floral, pine and sweetness. Taste follows with the bitterness more on the back than the front. This a very good double. Worth the trouble to get a bottle on the only day they sold it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled at Cask Pub & Kitchen, London Cloudy pale amber, small head. Sticky caramel aroma. Sweet and sticky with cardboardy caramel building a fat body. Buttery caramel dominates, hops are tired. Really sticky in an awkward way, like it never really leaves your throat. What a mess.

Bottle at CPK, London. Pours a lightly hazy gold with a fine, white head. Some caramel, pine, and light grass in the nose, all seeming tinged with a bit of age. Very sweet, lightly toasted sugars, bread, pine sap. Full bodied with smoothan average carbonation. Sweet, sticky and resinous finish, plenty of pine, caramel, mild toffee and bread. Very enjoyable.

Draft at GABF. Attractive glowing golden orange with a sticky head. Nose is pretty big, lots of pine with some apricot coming through and some bread malt in the background. Pretty nice stuff. On tasting, the malt is big and robust but never really sweet. Nice bitterness level and a lot of citrus & resiny notes come across as well. Really nicely balanced and a solid beer.

Maridada amb un llobarro amb espŕrrecs i citrics. Perfecte. Tant pel maridatge, com per la cervesa. Llupoladament amarga i llarga i refrescant. I un punt de textura cremosa que li dóna l’alchol molt ben integrat. Molt bona. S’haurŕ de repetir.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy amber with a yellowish head. Okay lacing. Aroma is malt, chewy pine hops with a cheesy touch and slight notes of sweet liquorice. Flavour is fat, malty and with citrus and pine hops. Sweetish bitter finish. A good and solid IIPA, but still lacking that last oomph. 25.09.11.
