A decent offering, well worth the money and i’d possibly get it again. Just didn’t knock my socks off.

Poured dark reddish brown, thick malty, caramel, citrus hops, little dark fruits.

Draft. Ruby brown beer with a dark cream colored head. Sweet malt and citrus aroma. Sweet malt and grapefruit/summer fruit flavor with some light darker malts. Medium-plus bodied. Sweet malt lingers with grapefruit/sumemr fruit.

Draft @ Pacific Coast Brewing. The 2009 batch was released around the end of November and is "Roger" instead of "Rodger" this time around, due to Rodger’s departure, I’ve read. Some of the most recent 2008 reviews are likely of the new 2009 batch. Anyhow, this pours a bold, deep cola-brown color with golden edges; small off-white head with excellent, fine-bubbled lacing. Solid amounts of dark roasted malts and chocolate in the aroma; some cola and dried dark fruits and earthiness, but quiet overall. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: oily, lightly carbonated presence; I could probably down a fair amount of this; lots of cola, dried dark fruits and hints of brown sugar, with an earthy and lively citrus bitterness; slight warmth coming through; pleasantly presented with an inkiness to it; like the Denogginizer, the hop character seems smooth and quieter at first than it actually is; the bitterness accumulates on the palate over time; I was tasting lingering bitterness for like half an hour afterwards; reasonably tasty stuff overall. The earthy and citrus bitterness builds, with the finish showing cola and brown sugar; nicely dry and clean.

Had this at barclays in Oakland. The reviews definitley match what I’m having, so here goes... It pours dark red with a tan head. The aroma is sweet, fruity and hoppy. My immediate impression of the flavor is a dark double ipa. Big flavors of caramel, toffee, grapefruit. The finish is bitter with a slight toasty feel to it. Enjoyable.
