An imperial black ipa with citra hops and a couple others...and CITRA HOPS! that alone made for a nice beer. great balance between the dry dark roast and the bursts of fresh hoppy citrusy goodness. pretty agressive beer, but i wanted more. get it while it’s fresh."

This beer pours brownish-black with a medium foamy tan head that diminishes slowly. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of piney hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of toasted malt, resiny hops and a bit of chocolate. The finish is hoppy up front with a roasty malt aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Bottle shared by DalzAle. Pours brown black with a tight off white head that fades fast to a wispy film and collar. Aroma has good rich roasted chocolate malt and bitter earthy floral spruce like hops all mixed together. Taste is really nice with upfront bitter hops as well as chocolate roasted malt that really meld together nicely. Palate is medium and slick yet chalky and drying. This is very well balanced!

Pours hazy dark red color with large frothy head. Aroma of hops, grass, fruits, mild dark malts and some goose berry bush. Flavor of dark malts, fruits, hops, caramel notes and some citrus zest. Dry ashy fruity palate with a malty and fruity palate. Vey similar to Nøgne Ø #100, in a little brother role though.

65 cl bottle vintage 2011 @ hotel room, Las Vegas
Aroma is floury with some resin and vanilla. Flavour is sweetish with resin, fruits, hints of vanilla and coffee. Ashy and dry finish. Slightly too much on the sweet side, but rather good anyway.

The D and G on the label were on top of each other and I never understood
