Poured deep black with creamy mocha colored head. No one at this blue-blazered stiff necked cocktail party can appreciate the subtleties this ale brings forth. Everything a stout should be and everything Guiness wiShes is could be.

On tap at Drakes Barrel House. Pours black with a decent tan head and a coffee and treacle aroma. There is a chocolate flavor that is a bit herbal and a dry bitter finish.

On tap at the brewery. This stout pours a deep black color from a nitro tap. Large sized tan foamy head. Aroma is semi-sweet chocolate and coffee. A medium bodied stout. Malts are chocolate and coffee with lots of roasty malts. Nice flavor. Good balance. I am not a fan of Nitro Beers in general, but the roasty malts in this one break through that weird nitro mouthfeel. Nice stout. Mouthfeel is Nitro full. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Tap. Pitch black with a very creamy tan head. Heavy body, creamy mouthfeel. Tastes like baker’s chocolate, espresso, and malts. Slightly bitter flavor and finish. Malty nose with plenty of chocolate. Much better than Guiness
