Draft. Blackish beer with a tan head. Orange vodka aroma. Orange vodka flavor with light caramel and light toffee. Medium bodied. Orange vodka lingers with light caramel and light toffee.

Draft at Beer Revolution for the John Martin tribute event. Wow, if you like oranges, this is your brew. It has a very nice pour with a pitch black body and a nice, stable tan head. The aroma is straight up orange peel and juice. Super overpowering. In fact, I doubt I’ve ever had any beer that had this powerful an orange aroma or flavor. The flavor was all orange as well with pith and peel and a bit of a dark chocolate backbone. The finish is a little roasted, dirty, and ashy. Thick on the palate but not syrupy. Good mouthfeel. Ridiculously out of balance, but very memorable. Have you had one of those chocolate oranges that you have to smack on the table to separate into slices? It’s kind of like that.
