Draft at drakes. Bright slightly hazed lemon straw with thin tight white head. Lemon forward, zest, touch of pine sol, pale malt undertones. Lemon forward hops, touch soapy, pine oil, bit of white pepper and light pale cracker malt. Bit one dimensional, but drinks easy and plenty of flavor. Nice sessionable beer.

Sampled at Drake’s Barrel House on 2/2/2013. This blond pale ale pours a cloudy orange gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, apricot and orange, piney and citrusy. A medium bodied golden ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are piney and citrusy and a touch floral. Good carbonation. Nice balance. A very nice, hoppy session ale, with lots of flavor. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

On tap at Original Gravity in San Jose, poured into a tulip. Pours a cloudy light blonde color that appears to be unfiltered. Big fluffy off-white head. Aromas are not very powerful, but subtle hints of lemon, some zest, grain, straw and slightly floral. Taste is mostly dominated by the grain flavor with some lemon sherbert kind of sweetness. Really soft palate and a little creamier than most pales I’ve tried. Low hop bitterness. The beer leaves nice lacing behind. I enjoy pales with the soft carbonation and soft palate (think Tired Hands or Hill Farmstead), but it is lacking in "bite" with a definite flavor other than grain. Nice beer nonetheless.

On tap at Drakes. It pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is lemony, tangerine, lime and wheat. Very light body with dry citrus zest, a little bread and mango.

On tap. Pours a cloudy light gold with a foamy white head. It has a light hop aroma with grass and a smaller floral note, along with some pale malt. It has bitter hops up front with a more balanced but hop-forward middle and finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy straw pour with a white head. Nice citrus hop aromas, some pine, and a general fruitiness. Hints of lemon peel, some bread sweetness, a bit of biscuit, cracker, and mild grass. There’s a somewhat dry malt profile to this with some biscuit and cracker notes. Good citrus, particularly grapefruit and lemon. Mild pine, some grass, and a light bitterness.
