Draft at Mikkeller Bar San Francisco. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have caramel malts, spicy hops, sticky citrus, some resiny notes, grainy, a bit strange.

On tap at Drakes. It pours a deep golden color with an off white head. The aroma has mild hops and a dry grainy balance. The flavor is malty with some butteriness, caramel and a spicy hop and alcohol bite. Full bodied with a syrupy aftertaste. Kind of a weird beer.

On tap at the barrel house. Pours dirty amber with a decent beige head and a strong fruit and toffee aroma. There is a full-bodied smoked malt flavor with a fruity finish.

On tap at Taps in Petaluma. Pours a pale reddy brown color with little head. Supposed to be 11.7% and called an Imperial Small Beer. The alcohol isn't noticeable to the point where the ABV seems a misprint.
