COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our most demanding recipe balances eight malts, creating a delicate character featuring notes of toffee, biscuit and chocolate. The ale finishes mildly sweet and has the spicy aroma of East Kent Golding hops.

A lot better the second time I had it. Still nothing spectacular though. Caramel-chocolate aroma, medium bodied taste, clean malty finish.

Nice looking, fairly unassming, but I don’t assume or presume to like brown ales much and the lean to being too sweet did nothing to win me over.

This used to be a decent brew. The last time I had it though i wanted to barf! EVERYWHERE!! On nitrogen in a weizen glass. Look lovely. Deep brown. Looks like really thick beef stock...ohh wait it even smells like really thick beef stock....no it couldn’t be it tastes like really thick beef stock as well. Gross. Strangely salty on the uptake and disgustingly so going down. Not a good brew as of late. grat

Brown ale, nothing really wrong nor right here.

Creamy but a complete lack of flavor. Red appearance, nice head. Overall very very forgetable. My brother-in-law didn’t drink the half of it.

Beautiful head, exceptionally nice looking in the glass. Slightly sweet smell. Disappointing taste and thin mouthfeel; very smooth but weak and watery.
