Thick unfiltered amber red brown pour with a decent thick ivory white head and immediate lacing everywhere. Nice floral sweet tulips smell. Flavor is beautifully mild and balanced. It is hoppy and sweet and is not boozy or fanatically hopped. Great thick mouthfeel that just coats the tongue with a nice sweet mild hop blanket. Another home run from the Draught House.
lb4lb (1339), Austin, Texas, USA May 8, 2008 Pours a gorgeous reddish amber with a light beige head. Smell is big fruity, gummy hops with house flavor and scent. Taste is fruity, hoppy and fairly bitter but with a good maltiness behind it. Good flavor and body. Nice beer. kidmartinek (706), austin, Texas, USA May 7, 2008 Pours the color cloudy tea with very little head. Smells like mild spicy hops, and a bit of sour malt. Taste is very hoppy, floral, bittersweet, and spicy. Texture is thin but a little sticky. The palate is intense and just a hop explosion. A very floral hop aftertaste stays around for a long time. Humulone_Red (743), Austin, Texas, USA Jul 9, 2006 On tap at the pub. This beer is a hop bomb. Pours a murky deep copper color with a nice off white head and sticky lacing. Big hop nose with pine, grapefruit, and malt. The flavors fit the nose with a big malt background to help hold it together. Nice lingering bitterness. It has big body that coats the mouth. Well made beer.. grat (433), ST. Louis, Missouri, USA Jul 10, 2004 I love it when they’ve got this B on tap. Soo good. Pours like hop syrup. No really. If there were hop tree and you could get syrup out of it it would look like this stuff. Pours a nice deep golden amber hue. Head is gone. Limit of two. Probably means that it is like somewhere between 8-11% would be my guess. As chad said very piney. Like opening up a can of Pinesol. MMMMM!!! Also slightly orangey smelling. Mouthfeel is off the chain biatch....So excellently coating and thick. Great brew I think
