(Growler thanks to mora2000) clear medium orange, lasting tan head. Smells just like caramelized cooked onions. Taste is spicy, orange peel, a bit umami, spicy linger and some grapefruit.

Growler thanks to mora2000. Dull golden brew with a small amount of white head. Aroma is great with lots of danky, pine, and citrus hops. Lots of depth for only one type of hop - nice malt sweetness with a bitter finish. Flavor is lots of citrus and pine.

Growler thanks to mora2000. Pours with a hazed golden body with a small white head. Aromas are big and spicy with grapefruit and the exaggerated fruit (nearly candied) notes that columbus leaves. Some alcohol. Flavors are dry, fruity, bitter, grainy, and nicely spicy. Lively bubbles and dry. I think I like Columbus a bit better as a supporting hop.

Growler from the Draught House. The beer pours a golden-yellow color with a white head. The aroma is heavy on the grapefruit, pine and resiny hops. A very nice aroma that definitely showcases the Columbus hops. The flavor is also heavy on the hops. The flavor is resiny and piney hops with some biscuit malt mixed in. I also get some orange and grapefruit notes. There are a lot of hop flavors in this one beer, remarkable for a beer with only one hop variety. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Rich, golden ale. One inch frothy white head. Sappy, resinous hop aroma. Rich, full bitter flavor. Hops slam the back of the palate on the finish. Ends with a belly warming sensation, so much be high abv.
