Cask draught pint at the joint- served a tranparent light copper color with a half finger white creamy head and laced the glass up entirely. Aroma was very thick with grapefruit and a small note of pine. Hits the mouth an even medium body, malt is right where it should be- not overpowering but it makes itself known, the typical hop wave of acidity in the middle, finish has a fine sweetness that builds the longer you drink it. Great "living" feel was added from the cask throughout the partaking of it. Just a low down dirty shame this was the last one of the night- I wanted to compare it to the other 2 Hop School brews available.

On tap at the brewpub. The beer pours an orange-amber color with a white head. The aroma is very hoppy. I get a lot of orange and pine notes, about what I expected and very inviting. The flavor is similar. In addition to the orange citrus and pine notes, there is quite a bit of resin character in the flavor that builds and builds as the beer is drank. As the resin and bitterness builds, the beer gets harder to drink. The alcohol is very well hidden. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. An interesting showcase of what nugget hops can do in a beer.
