Bright yellowish copper. Earthy aroma. The backbone tastes like pale English malt. The flavor quickly turns deliciously bitter. This beer reminds me of a cross between an ESB and an IPA. It’s satisfaction from the moment it hits the mouth. The body is robust and lively with a palate tingling carbonation. The finish is smooth with a little hop bitterness.

On tap at the brewpub. The beer pours a hazy orange color with a white head. The aroma is very hoppy. I get a lot of orange citrus and grapefruit notes as well as a little bit of bready malt. The flavor is similar. I get a ton of orange citrus but I also get quite a bit of floral notes from the hops. There is also a good amount of bready malt to keep things fairly balanced. Low to medium bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
