A pretty good attempt on the style, but I expected a bit more punch. Standard nuttiness and malt in the aroma, but it was toned down too much. Taste followed suit, just not enough malty backbone to it, I sensed that it was all there, but amp it up guys.

On tap at pub. Pours red/copper color with a thin head and some lacing. Molasses, bread, and fruit in the nose. The flavor has sweet malt, bread dough, fruit with some earthy notes. Smooth and drinkable with a medium body. This beer tends to get me into trouble when it’s on tap so watch out.

Man I love Austin. Great Brew Pubs. This beer is awesome for spring. Huge and alcoholic. Malty and salty, sweet and bold this beer will kncok your dong off. Looks like a Salvator. Bronze and thick looking. No head...would like a head but I will do without. Smells like a great Doppel...that means apricot, thick molasses and soy sauce. Tastes awesome. Very thick. Carbonation takes over and comlpliments the giant maltiness of the brew. Hops...I can’t even taste them. Aftertaste is excellent. Check it out G-rat
