(hand bottle from BMan1113VR, sampled 3/8/10). Black color. Medium tan head, which is mostly diminising. Roasted malt/coffee aroma. Moderate roasted malt flavor, with light sweetness and light bitterness. Avg duration. Smooth finish, with lasting roastiness. Thin/creamy texture. Moderate carbonation. Fair lacing.

hand-bottle thanks to Conner, pours black with a medium tan head, suprised since it’s hand bottled, looks great. Aroma is dark chocolate, light coffee notes and some vanilla. Flavor is very roasty with an almost peated malt smokyness and again coffee and dark cocoa. Light cream and vanilla notes in the finish but overall a very solid stout!

Growler thanks to angrypirate06. Pours a black with nice tan head. Aroma of dark roast, espresso and chocolate. Flavor is exactly the same with some added cream. Mouth feel is medium body with medium carbonation with a silky creaminess. Overall, I very much enjoyed this, pretty tasty!

Draught. Pours near black, this tan head with a thin alcohol-like film appearance. Roasty, sweet nose with malt and coffee. Plain texture, but a strong bite on the tongue. Thin and sparcely administered lace. Sweet, dark, barley taste. The yeast contributes a fruity, almost apple-like quality to the finish. The finish is also full flavored, salty and malty, and a tad dry.
