COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A "session" bitter, this beer is clean, fruity and effervescent. Fully one pound per barrel of East Kent Goldings hops lend a large floral effect to this ale. Quality that would make the Queen proud.

On tap at the Draught House. Cask version. The look is ligher red to amber in color, fizzy off white head. The smell is weaker than expected, hops, wood, pine, and citrus. The taste is weak, citrus, hops, some bitterness, and malts.

Tap at Draught House.
Pours an average iced tea brown with an aroma of light (watery) English bitter malt. Flavor is leafy bitter malt with a faint melon sweetness in the finish. Average mouthfeel. Perty good.

A dark amber beer, sightly opaque with a tiny head. Aroma is of bitter, roasted malt. Taste starts out maty with notes of toffee, coffee, and cocoa. Then a medium-heavy bitterness develops from the hops. Mouthfeel is rich and has a strong bite. I wouldn’t say it’s highly carbonated, just sharp. Finishes with a medium roasted malt flavor and a hint raspberry and chocolate.

A very drinkable brew. Deep amber color with almost no head. Rich malt complex with nice hopping.

DH Trophy Bitter: Pour is nice warm reddish amber with a thin tan head...smell is sweet with caramel, molasses, and chestnuts...taste is slightly sweet with some nice sweet bread flavors...a lot like Hawaiian bread...light hints of a metallic bitter finish...nice chewy mouthfeel...

Burnt orange beer. Thick head when poured and then nothing but a trace of treacly goo. Nose is right on. Dry and yet fruity bitterness from the malts. Like dried fruits. sweet but retaining a sense of dry funkiness tat adds a complex delight. Primarily sweet though. Slight hop presence. Hops shine on the palate though. Malts flood the corners of the mouth at first and then an acrid bitterness overwhelms your mouth. Piney and dirty sticky aftertaste. Dried fruits linger. Palate is firm and weighty. Good beer

Murky copper with a nice white head and good lacing. Nice biscuit/bread and grassy aroma. Nice bready malt flavor with grassy hop bite. Very balanced flavor. Great bitter.

Pretty decent bitter beer. Served in a tall 23oz glass, the beer started a lot better than it finished. Definitely drinkable, but not as good as some other ESB’s.

Not a bad bitter at all. Started out with the sweetness of Fullers and ended pleasantly. Not as addicting as Fuller’s but good nonetheless.
