Really solid IPA with a very strong rye hint to it. Higher abv and ibu than their mainstay: Scepter Head IPA. Great aroma. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap. Clear amber with a lacing white top. Nose of rye and pine. Piney taste with some rye and citrus.

Nose of citrus hops up front, nice bitter resiny notes rye malt spiciness, caramel, and earthy notes as well. Pours copper, oily off white head and lace. Flavors of spicy rye, citrus hops - grapefruit and orange bitters, grain, caramel, and nice long resiny bitterness. Smooth dryness rounds out finish. Nice rye ipa.
