Bottle at the ChrisO Snow Tasting, London. Pours clear gold with a light, white foam head. Bready malt nose - white bread to be precise - with faint nips of lemon. Light sweet flavor with dried pale malts and mellow straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Fairly dry to finish with more pale malts, white bread. Bland but OK.

Toasted crumpets aroma. Tastes mushroomy and a bit "old". Is before its BB. Hmm... This is why I’m no fan of "golden ale"s. Sub-par.

Clear medium yellow amber colour with a small to average, open and frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, caramel, tea, cheese. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average duration, odd ! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130120]

Lightly hazed golden amber with a thin head.
Nose is pale malt, pissy, light fruits - not a lot doing.
Taste follows, bland, light fruit notes, boring nothingness.
Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, some light bitterness in the finish.
No thanks.
