Keg at city beer in Budapest. Dark nut brown coloured pour with a sticky dirty tan head. Aroma is roasted nuts, smoked, tangy apple, unrefined sugars. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, plum jam , smoked wood, tangy woody finish. Little Rusty penny metallic in the finish. Palate is medium sweet, moderate carbonation, medium bodied. Lingering sweet brown malts and slightly harsh Roasty finish.

Rich brown coloured body with a nice, two centimetre off-white head. Aroma of prunes, raisins, light malt and a bit of earth. Light to Medium-bodied; Earthy flavour of malt and some light peat noticeable, but the prunes, raisins and figs are the strongest here - in a good way. Aftertaste is rich and mostly sweet, but some caramel malt and toffee are noticeable as well. Overall, a nice departure from the pale lagers, and this one has real flavour, especially for being a SAB product. I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from Prima [Grocery Store] in central Budapest on 24-March-2016 for 229HUF sampled a few minutes later in my hotel room here in the centre of Budapest, Hungary on 24-March-2016.

Bottle. Dark ruby almost brown color. Small-medium head. Some burnt notes in both, aroma and flavor. Also some caramel, grains, malt notes. In my opinion alcohol is not too pronounced what is good. Sweet. Overall: ok. This is classic type of recipe when you want to satisfy most of the consumers. Give them notes of caramel, then they will foegent on malts. Yes, body of this beer, is that what is missing. Still, ok beer.

Pours a very dark ruby color with medium beige head. Slightly roasted smell. Full body with medium carbonation. Thick and creamy on the tongue. Taste of roasted malts, a bit of caramel and coffee grains. Strong presence of alcohol in the finish. Overall, very good. Excellent value for money.

Bottle. Roasted-caramelly beer with notes of plums, almost dry for a bock, with an earthy finish. Not bad.

Bottle - Clear brown colour, small foamy beige head, poor retention. Roasted malts and alcohol on the nose, some caramel, ash. Taste is sweet with chocolate, caramel and a boozy aftertaste. Medium body and carbonation, smotth texture, sweet and boozy finish. Drinkable.
