2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 diabel (1584) - Aarschot, BELGIUM - NOV 14, 2011
Deep black body, lightly brown head. Soapy nose of chocolate/coffee: quite sweet and rather bad. Flavour as araoma: lightly bitter, heavily sweet flavour.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 japi (109) - Kisvárda, HUNGARY - OCT 12, 2011
A dark red-brown beer with a thin, light brown head. The aroma is roasted malty with notes of dark chocolate. The taste is sweet with notes like dark chocolate, cherry and roasted malt. I think that it’s one of the best commercial beers in Hungary.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 EithCubes (4201) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 8, 2011
Backlog from 25 June 2011. Bottle, green glass, by 2012.05.21. Nose is sweet, lots of tar, a little dirt, less caramel, faint berries. Coke/caramel oour with ruby edges and a rocky, Guinness-like tan head. Taste is a bit too sweet, cocoa and artificial sweetener in with red berry. No carb/prickle in the malty medium-full body, bit of smoke in the aftertaste. Again, not terrible, but with some industry showing.

From bottle in Budapest; aroma is sweet, almost caramelly with fruit notes. Taste was much better than I expected. Same caramel and fruit taste as the aroma with a dry cocoa/espresso finish. Alc 7.3%. I would buy this again
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Kavu (1567) - Helsinki, FINLAND - AUG 13, 2011
Pours very dark red with a low head. Light aroma is mostly roasted malts. Flavor is roasted malts with a hint of caramel. Decent dark lager.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Koelschtrinker (8491) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 19, 2011
Recht kurzer Abgang.
Test vom 13.8.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 8,9,9,11,-,10 - 9,63
