COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle - Pours dark and leaving nice lacing. Aroma and taste is rather sweet with the hint of chocolate and brandy. Full body, really nice one from a big, commercial brewery.

BOTTLE 50CL. Look: deep red-brown, beige creamy head. Aroma: caramel, burnt sugar, slight roast, a touch of alcohol. Taste: caramel, sweet chocolate, light-to-moderate bitterness, slightly phenolic/alcoholic. Pretty good.

Bottle in a field in the Czech Republic. Clear dark brown pour, thin tan head. Aroma of sugary malts, some caramel, a hint of licorice and slightly spicy. Flavor is quite sweet, slightly bitter and well balanced. Decent body.

Bottle.. Medium malt aromas of roasted, cookie, nutty and mild coffee, light herbs and meat for the hops and yeast. Head is average size, fizzy, tan, with good lacing and good legs and is mostly diminishing. Color is very dark brown. Flavor starts lightly to moderately sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, slick with lively carbonation and a dry finish. This Dunkler Bock smells pretty good but the flavor is a bit out of balance.

Draught at Angyalképző Sörbár, Budapest, on June 20, 2014.
Clear dark brown color, tan head. Sweet, spicy, lactic, grainy taste. Grainy aftertaste. Medium to fizzy mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Dry finish. Sweet, spicy, odd a bit acidic scent.
When warmign up goes acidic to sour in taste too and worse again in scent. Something wrong with it. Not sure if it is the beer or unclean taps, was very likely the first of this beer to be poured this day. Even though the girl in the bar did rinse the glass before serving the tap line could perhaps be dirty?
If it is reallys upposed to taste and smell like this, well boo, I don’t like it!

Completely dark with red hue. Medium sized tan head. No special aroma at first beside maltyness, but finish is very long and filled with pleasant coffee aroma and some caramel. Thin to medium body, flat carbonation. This was actually surprisingly good.

Borzalom! A sör és külön a barna sör megcsúfolása! Csapolva is ihatatlan, üvegben meg egyenesen kibírhatatlan. Szerintem be kéne vonni a forgalomból, azonnal!!!
