Like most beers that come from behind the Iron Curtain, this one still has a way to go to be a classic beer. It does go well with spicy Hungarian food though. I had one in a KFC in Budapest with some Hungarina HOT wings and it was a great fire stopper.

Possibly the worst beer I have ever had. Probably ranks second-worst to West End Draught but I will never really know because I will never try either again as long as I have oxygen in my lungs.

Blond color. Too much corn note in the aroma and flavor. Quite dry. Just for the thirst.

Just another boring pilsener. Can't say anything special about it. Just very average, mediocre. Do i have that 75 characters now?

Clear yellow color. Hoppy aroma. Muffy taste. Just another average pils. Those Hungarians don't know about beer.

Ideed a boring Heineken Lager. Tastes the same in every country. watery, skunky, hoppy.

Dreher is a classic little boring international lager. My sample had a slight oxidative flavour.

UPDATED: MAY 6, 2004 Clear golden body, barely enough head, lot of carbonation. Watery and fizzy, with little or no taste: slight herbal aroma and hoppy finish. But it's so damn HOT these days that even a cheap beer like this one is a bliss.

(Bottle) Gold body and thin, white head. Slight skunk aroma. Mild taste of malt. Clean finish.

Unusual, but nice. Golden, a bit smokey head but swift finish. Can´t get enough of it, amousing, good friend. Funny name.
