UPDATED: AUG 9, 2009 Rooftop sample in ribbed plastic cup, Firenze. Slight soapy aroma with bread, glue and biscuity malt. Deeper gold than some, with a well-behaved head and lacework. Pine needle traces, clean biscuity malt, some nuthusk and pilsy bite, always that licked envelope. No metal or astringency, which is something.

Can. Light sweet malt aroma. Medium yellow with moderate but quickly dissapating head. Creamy malt flavor with a light touch of hops to finish - similar to a Classic German Pilsner - very nice flavor.
0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 Beer2000 (2918) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 20, 2009
330ml can. Almost extremely pale body with a white head. Weak aroma of canned asparagus. Not much flavor here, but actually better than expected. Traces of grain and a noticeable bitterness. Very short finish and a very boring beer.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 larsga (4431) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 4, 2009
Medium white head quickly goes coarse, then shrinks. Yellow body with light carbonation. Syrupy malty aroma with straw and caramel notes. Dryish-sweetish honey and straw taste with grain notes. Thinnish body. Dry grassy papery aftertaste with light metal notes. Bland, boring, inoffensive. (0.66l bottle, Pavi Supermarket, Qormi, Malta.)

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Pipper (325) - Ohio, USA - JAN 25, 2009
Poured into small hotel glass, not worth the pour. Pale yellow color, no head, low carbonation. Comparable to the Warsteiner Premium Verum. Fine for a euro but I’d rather pocket the coin.
