1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 caesar (3748) - Bunnik/Utrecht, - AUG 17, 2003
Clear yellow color. Hoppy aroma. Muffy taste. Just another average pils. Those Hungarians don't know about beer.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 pkbites (509) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 29, 2012
Yellow gold pour with white head. Almost no nose. No hops, no bitterness. Light watery mouth feel. Very weak, much like an American light beer. Had in bottle in Florence, Italy.
1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 dreadnord (322) - Castel Volturno, ITALY - APR 26, 2012
Standard lager pour. Pale, yellow, fizzy. Nose is like a freshly opened can of pilsbury dough, pick your flavor. Light hay or grass. Taste is sweet, way to sweet. No bitter to be found. Mouthfeel is overcarbonated mess. Short aftertaste.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Rune (4990) - Tromsø, NORWAY - APR 19, 2012
500ml can bought at a minimarket in Rome. Clear, late straw coloured body. Fast diminishing white head. Grassy hops and pale malty nose. Grainy and dough-like malts in flavour overlaid by fruity hints. Dry short-lived ending. Soft in the mouth. Possible to drink (hotel room, 02.04.2012).
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 BlackHaddock (1709) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 11, 2012
May 2011: I’ve just returned from a weeks holiday on the Amalfi Coast and hoped to review loads of new beers while over in Italy: I had only reviewed 8 Italian beers before the trip, this is the one and only new Italian beer I found (plus one from Denmark).
The large 66cl brown bottle had a year of life left when I poured it into a small ’Moretti’ glass tankard (three times) at the ’Pub Birilla’ street-side tables in the tiny resort village of Minori.
A lager is a lager, is a lager: this one was fine, a pale gold body with a good sized white head on each pour.
A little sweeter than a lot of Med pils/lagers, but pleasent enough. Very little aroma, gets my standard 3 for pils/lager smells.
This is just another mid-range lager, could have been brewed anywhere in the world and is aimed at the masses. Fine in the sun and on holiday, not the sort of thing I’d consider having at home unless someone else brought it to the house for some reason.

Portaci una dreher, portaci una dreher dice la reclame, ma vieni a vedere che spettacolo...
2.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 bhensonb (7586) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 9, 2011
Bottle from small market in Roma. Pours darkish gold with a white smear. Aroma is bready and slightly paperish. Med body. Flavor is bread and herbally bitter. Bitter expands in the finish. Better than many of the style.
1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 TheGrandMaster (2313) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - JUL 20, 2011
Bottle while in Italy. More standard mainstream lager fare. More overt graininess in this.
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 JaKeAFC (201) - ITALY - JUL 19, 2011
0.66 bottle. Didn’t had this in long time, not expecting a big thing. Clear golden yellow appearance, soapy white head quickly reducing. Nose is quiet, some muddy malts. Aroma of some grains, quiet malt, apple, hay. Taste is prominently sweet, minimal bitter finish. Thin feel, light body, average carbonation.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Ragnampiza (60) - ITALY - JUN 24, 2011
The beer of my youthness! Oh man I’ve drinked this stuff hundreds and hundreds of times. I can’t say this is something special for the flavour, or the taste, but this beer will remain something special for me. It’s thirstquenching, goes really well with a pizza, and it’s extremely cheap!
1.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 Koelschtrinker (7060) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 19, 2011
Test vom 8.10.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,3,7,3,10,3 - 4,55
