COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dreher is a full-malt, triple-hopped premium lager: It is rich in flavour It has a distinct aroma It has a slightly darker colour It provides a full-drinking (flavourful) experience But it is still easy-drinking. The triple-hopping process provides a full-flavoured drinking experience – this is the unique intrinsic of the beer. The hops are added to the brew at three different stages during the brewing process. Three different hop varieties are used: Hersbrucker for aroma Halletauer Magnum for flavour Southern Promise for finish (the fine bittering in every sip). Dreher appeals to a discerning beer drinker who appreciates a full-flavoured, aromatic, rich lager with European origin and authentic brewing style. .

Brewed at the Alrode Brewery in Gauteng under license of Dreher Sörgyár, Hungary.

Rich golden color, with a slight bready, herb nose. Initial taste is surprisingly light and only slightly hoppy. Almost no aftertaste, rather bland and unexciting.

This green bottle must have been in the sun. Pours like most mass produced lagers. Aroma of skunk spray on steroids. Watery.

Pours out a straight gold .. low headring .. nice medium crispness .. non offensive .. some hay .. quite a nice surprise really, i enjoyed it! ..to OPA, i miss you!

Aroma is bready, citrus and skunky, while appearance is pale and clear with minimal head. Flavour is medium sour with a hint of tin. Body is light and thin, very fizzy with an abrupt chemical finish.

Tastes like a normal pale lager. Crisp, close to flavorless, easy going, but not hoppy. Had by bottle in Cape Town.
