The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Almost copper-coloured. Fine foam. Starts spicy and malty, turns then spurish. The finish is malty, not really dry. Good!

Aug 9, 2008 (7/2/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Memmelsdorf. Clear deep golden. Aroma has some light butterscotch notes, malt and caramel. Sweet malty flavor with diacetyl and some caramel. Medium-bodied. Quite boring.

does not count  Apr 29, 2007 On tap at the Drei Kronen and bottled bought at the Gasthof - my favorite beer in the Bamberg area. On tap is better than bottled. It is a clean tasting beer with a hint of butterscotch. If you’re in the Bamberg area, stop by and have a beer and dinner - be sure to say hello to Herr Straub.

Oct 2, 2006 Draught @ brewerypub Drei Kronen, Memmelsdorf. Hazy copper color with moderate off white head. Aroma is roated malt, sweetish, and some karamel. Their is a cellary flavour !!

May 29, 2006 Swing top bottle, bought at the brewpub. Orange blonde color. Malty, buttery aroma with a hint of orange. Malty, buttery flavor with hints of smoke and boiled milk. Orange. Tasty brew!
