Bügelverschlußflasche: Deep golden coloured, quickly vanishing white foam, sweet pale malt, dark malt and a good dash of "rural" hops in the aroma; solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, soft MF; lingering robust bitter-sweet finish. (swing top bottle) Hazy, deep amber colour with a mid-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Moderately sweet toast-malty nose with spicy notes of anise, caramel and a light herbal hoppy blend. Moderately sweet flavour, robust toast-malty base with caramel and herbal side effects; sweet and slightly bitter toast-malty finish with light but balancing herbal hops and a warming alcohol presence. Almost Doppelbock-like, quaffable.
