draught at the Schillergarten, as Spezial Hell. Clear golden colour, mid-sized head. Malty-grainy nose. Rather mild, bready-grainy malt and dusty-citrusy hop flavours.

alas not ungespündetes. instead pretty bland but with a pleasant full soft maltiness that many east german beers tend to have. just a little sweeter than it should be
