bottle from wastl. Clear, dark brown colour, large beige head. Malty, quite dry start with lots of cocoa pwder and some bitter chocolate. Not too sweet, quite a lot of dark roasted malt flavours. Very nice.

Malzig-dunkler Antrunk, der leider weniger intensiv ist, als der Geruch andeutet. Dies resultiert aus einer deutlichen Wässrigkeit, die leider auch im Mittelteil noch präsent ist und einfach nich verschwinden will. So tut sich das Malz schwer, das Bier schmeckt heller, Getreidenoten wären wohl sonst eher vom Malz verdeckt. Dennoch bildet sich eine immerhin akzeptable Würzigkeit, die den dunklen Charackter durchscheinen lässt. Insgesamt wäre ein wenig mehr Körper wünschenswert. 9/8/9/8/11/9

It’s red-brown with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of syrup, roasted malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of syrup, roasted malt, caramel and the finish has some slightly dry citrus. It’s both refreshing and soft and pleasant.

Clear medium to dark amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, nutty, berry notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091002]
