It’s orange-golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of grain, malt and light fruit. The flavor is light to moderately sweet with notes of grain, bread and fruit, and the finish is fairly dry. A quite nice Märzen, normally not my favorite, but this is good!

bottled, park bench session with mowbeer, as kunigunden festbier. faint green tinge on golden; hints of green peppercorn in the aroma; lightly prickly hop character, medium bitterness. a bit of a surprise packet - got better with each sip

Bottle with label Dreykorn St. Kunigunder Festbier, many thanks to Quack Duck. Clear dark golden color with large frothy white head. Malty aroma with roasted bread, caramel. Taste, very sweet, with honey, syrup, some biscuits, shy bitterness in background. Sweet finish with hints of light bitter hops. Little bit too much on sweet side for me, but drinkable.

bottle with thanks to wastl. Clear golden colour, large white head. Solid malty base, slightly grainy and biscuity, herbal hoppy accents.

Koelschtrinker (10643) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 29, 2011
11/11/12/9/10/11

Bottle 50cl. @ home.
[ as Dreykorn St. Kunigunder Festbier ]. Clear medium orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, bread, sugar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. (150808)

Bottle. Clear golden colour. Quickly diminishing white not quite white head. Starts out sweet with mostly hops in the middle. Short finish. Not very good.

MoritzF (8493) - Bochum, GERMANY - OCT 29, 2007
(bottle, as St. Kunigunder Festbier) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Light-sweet and slightly cara-malty and fruity (pears) nose with shy herbal hoppy notes. Light-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, crispy mf. Quite one-dimensional malt-accented, slightly grainy and subtle fruity taste; moderately sweet malty and minimal-fruity finish with a light herbal hoppy touch. Clean, but also a bit boring, otherwise drinkable.

Bottle: Deep golden, lively carbonation, quickly diminishing off-whit loose head, bisquity, honeyish, sweet-malty nose with a good dash of "oaky" aromatic hops; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; shy sweetish-bitter finish with a metallic tinge and some aromatic hops in the aftertaste. Not great, a bit too shy.........
