650ml bottle pours a dark red color with a finger of white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is sour cherries with hints of lemon, oak and yeast. Taste is tart cherries and lemon with a fruity and malty sweetness finishing dry and yeasty with some oak notes. Medium bodied with generous carbonation. Nicely crafted and definitely recommended.

Offering shared at RateBeer Grand Tasting 2014 (St. Louis, MO). Pours a deeper blackish hue, dark and brooding with some brown glow. Frothy brownish head dies down, laces small. Aromas are a bit carmelized, toasty with vanilla. Some oak, firmer roastiness and caramel. Initial is medium bodied, a decent creamy caramel sweetness meets oak, gentle warmth and coffee. Touches of cocoa, faint fudge. Backend is a bit toasty, some decent stout base still shines through with touches of oak, caramel.
