COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by the original Alt-style beer of Dusseldorf. Crooked Coast brings together the aromas of German noble hops and Munich malt to produce a very refreshing and mellow ale that is the perfect companion on any shape of coast.

Bottle... Poured reddish with a beige head. Earthy, balanced and mild hop spices. Low bitterness with a clean finish. Citrus fruits, sweet malted grains, and candied sweetness.

Toasted bread on the nose with a hint of caramel earth pepper and fruit. Hazy amber pour with a thin head and minimal lace. Toasted brown bread light fruity notes touch caramel pepper earth light to medium bitterness. Mild and pleasant.

22. Pours a clear rubied medium amber with a big sudsy light tan head and plenty of webby lace. Very mild caramel and toast nose. Creamy light body; decent carb presence but very light on the tongue. A bit of tea on the mid palate, but not much, to go with the toast and caramel. Soft finish. Very easy drinker. Alt? Ale? Guess it doesn’t really matter.

So-so Driftwood bottle. Perhaps too mellow for me. Cloudy amber colour with lots of white lace. Carbonation right there. Sourish and citrus. OK mouthfeel, passable drinkability.

Bottle. Golden amber with moderate foam. Quiet nose. A nice amber. Good body. Malty, grainy, lots of cereal and bread flavour with a light balancing hop note.

a nice bitter malt flavour, with sufficient hops...very refreshing with a surprisingly mellow finish...Pilsner drinkers may like this one if they’re looking for something a little more full-bodied.

Has a decent amber-gold body with a good layer of head on top. Okay sharp hoppy aroma like the Belgians do. Flavour is a bitter malt with plenty of hops and a dry finish; no sweetness at all, which I find a little odd but not entirely bad. Not too complex, however; and I’d prefer just a touch of sweetness to keep the tastebuds fully satisfied.

Deep amber pour with a tight white head. Very toasty, slightly sweet aroma with a bit of toffeeish character. A little bit of sweetness on the finish. Yeast has a bit of light fruitiness. Lightly sweet with a kiss of lingering sugary character. Warming bring up more fruit - okay.

Golden-amber with a thin head. Somewhat flowery with earthy, caramelly character. Smooth malty character, light caramel and toast with some floral notes. Not altbier at all, no matter what they say.

Pours an amber-orange. Aroma of floral notes, caramel malt and pine. Taste is floral and sweet malt. Quite nice.
