On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear amber with a small white head. Hoppy aroma, some caramel. Taste is strong hoppy, complex and spicy. Coriander and light pepper. Lingering moderate bitter aftertaste.Quite pleasant and interesting.

Bottle the folks picked me up from Driftwood Spars. Pours slightly veiled gold with a dense, well-retained white collar. Aroma has got me dribbling; a big, Bretty smack of farmyard, flowers and mouldering satsuma. If it was Orval, Cantillon or a Sorachi Ace single hop I’d be giving it an 8 or 9, so what the hell. Flavour a little more challenging; mildly acidic, edgy, equine....Good limey, pollen-dappled hop and lavender cutting through husk and horseblanket. Don’t think I’ve ever changed my mind so entirely about a beer at a second sitting- I couldn’t drink half a bottle the first time I tried this, now I’m thirsting for another. Really enjoyable.

ChrisOs Easter Tasting. Light haze on this gold beer, little off white head. Light dry palate. Tangy and mildly sour lemony hops. Dry finish. Nice lemon from the Perle hops. Decent.

Bottle at Chriso’s Easter tasting 2012. It pours golden yellow, with a white head. The nose is hay, straw and white grape. The taste is lime, lemon, grapefruit, white grape, tartness, straw and soap, with a dry finish. Light-medium body and low-average carbonation. Alright.
