Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth but has decent fine carbonation. Fluffy pale malts bring a little creamy sweetness. Hops are a little odd, there is good pine and hop spice but there is also a floral aspect that is slightly perfumey - soapy. A trace of tropical fruits before a mildly bitter and smooth finish. An odd duck!

Bomber from The Good Spirits Co. Wine & Beer. Pours a deep gold witha slight haze. the White head doesnít last long. Nose is pretty muted to start, becoming orangey and a little funky as it warms up. Palate is initially very bitter seville orange marmalade, with a superb long bitter finish. Over time the bitterness evolves to walnut skins. I donít really taste any malt, but the balance is superb, so it must be in there in a supporting role. Overall a great beer. íTis a pity about the strength; Iíd love to have this sort of beer for sessioning.

Pale golden, slight haze and a decent puffy white cap and one sided lacing. Nose is piney and gummy, bright dash of lychee and bullish grapefruit pulp. Initial taste is clean white grapefruit and zesty pineapple. Very plain juiciness, soft carbonation and creamy sweet malt blowout. The bitterness is well padded and intense enough. Finishes very clean, spriteful mango and more taught grapefruit. Lingers long flared up bitterness. Clean and chewy at the same time.

Bottle. Amber with white head. Absolutely hummimg of the hops, grapefruit, passion fruit, lychee and mango. Taste is sharp and citrusy, hefty white grapefruit, passion fruit and lychee. Long punishing bitter finish. This is the kind of IPA Iím in to

Bomber. Big nose or tropical fruit, some dankness, mango. Rich, juicy tropical fruit flavor with a full, oily palate. Good stuff.

Thanks to Steve for the bottle. Pours a hazy gold yellow with a big thick white head. Citrus, peaches and tropical fruit in the aroma. Smooth malt body with a nice dank hop bite, citrus and mango in the taste as well. Well done IPA.

Draft pour pint at the original tap and barrel location. Poured into their signature mason jar sleeve. I keep forgetting pints donít exist here. Whatever they are called, the beer is awesome. Pours a light golden color with an oily fizz head. Very imperial feel to this one. Where is the line anyway? Hop heavy throughout with a bitter finish. Great amount of grapefruit but almost zero sweetness. Huge linger to this one. Good stuff.

650ml bottle from Hippo Beers. Yellow amber, good head. Soapy sweet hoppy malt aroma. Boiled sweet hop flavour. Resinous. Fairly typical quality North American IPA.
