What a quality west coast style IPA. From Canada, I wouldnít necessarily expect such a pine and grapefruit hop presence, but there it is. The aroma is a strong point, with grass, flowers, pine and citrus all present. The aroma is pure hops, a touch of water and light malt. The body has a better malt presence but doesnít sacrifice the clean water finish. Fresh bomber went down so easily. The only knock is the alcohol at 7% is a little high for a beer that Iíd love to session, and that it sticks a bit on the tongue with a tannic finish at the back. Otherwise, this is a beautiful beer, even including the appearance which is amber and has some decent (but not a ton of) lace. Thanks, Mom, for bringing this back!

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours orangish amber, nice head. Lots of piney and grapefruity hops! But balanced enough that itís not just bitter. Worth the steep price tag.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pale amber pour. The nose is really bright and hoppy. A lot of grapefruit and pine in addition to some clean resiny hoppiness. Bright and fresh and lively. A top-notch IPA. Does exactly what itís supposed to.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
An everyday drinking IPA. Nice citrus, grapefruit hop aroma. Pours cloudy orange with nice head. Has a very fresh, clean taste. Crisp, drying finish. I look for this one when I am in BC.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber with thanks to gorditoabd. Pours hazy and orangish, massive head and a resin and herbal hops nose. Flavor is pretty decent, but either it is too malty to begin with for my preferences or the transit took a toll. The hops seem a little generic... I wonít say directionless, but they donít really push toward a specific flavor profile.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sees like a pretty typical IPA within the very crowded fielded of above average, but not distinctive IPAs. For my palate itís too bitter, and that is the overwhelming feature of this beer. Not one I would try again.

Lovely West Coast IPA. Weed (weed.) flavours mixed up with the other usual hops here, which are all well balanced. On the other end the malt very midly bit toasty. The malt and hops balance well, and they together balance well with the aroma and appearance... so yeah complex and well made, obviously.
