Bottle from LetsPour.com, poured into a 330ml tulip. Slightly hazy medium gold pour with a finger of pillowy white head. Pungent hop aroma. Very tropical. Pineapple, orange, grapefruit, and a touch of pine and mint. Very bitter. Sweet citrusy hops complement a base of pilsner malt, finishing very dry and resinous. Body is on the light side of medium, surprisingly drinkable. Quite flavorful but just a touch too bitter and dry for my tastes. I would call this Canada’s answer to Ruination.

Bottle (650 ml) from DuffMan, thanks! Deep hazy amber pour with rich lacy white head. Aroma is quite hoppy, tons of piney coniferous hop, light citrus notes. Vert flavorful brew, intense hoppiness, very resinous, very bitter with strong boozy malt profile as well. Palate is full bodied with med carbonation, definitely some alcohol on the finish. Pretty intense brew, good.

Typical IPA aroma and a very high hop rate. Got a cold a couple of days into my visit to BC (thanks Air Canada...) and it was just about the only thing I could taste. Infection free though, this was a mighty slug of beer; drink too many and your throat will be like the bottom of a parrot cage next morning. Incidentally, one draught sample I tried was as clear as mud, which although it reflected badly on the bar concerned does at least shows that they aren’t tampering too much with the final product. All the IPA virtues and vices but you could hardly call it subtle.

Great IPA. Fantastic aromas. Somehow the hops seem to affect me besides the alcohol.

Bought a large bottle of this after hearing great things. So disappointed. It was completely oxidized so hope these guys sort out their packaging.

Very cloudy orange yellow body with a foamy white head. Aroma is faintly citrus and pine. Taste matches with a strong orange influence. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUN 8, 2015 Aroma is grapefruit, passionfruit, citrus, lemon grass and light sweet malts. Taste is light sweet malts with hop earthiness and slight citrus. Finishes pretty clean. Appearance is a hazy gold with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well .

The aroma is citrus with a hint of pine, The color of the liquid is amber and it has a clear complexion. The head is frothy. The taste is medium bitter. The beer is medium bodied, with a sticky texture. The carbonation is soft. The beer finishes off long. Overall .. This is probably one of the ipa’s that I have ever had! the flavors are excellent and the quality of the taste is superb.

Mild bitter finish. The pine or citrus profiles compete with the malt. I prefer the malt in the background. This yields a muddled palate. It's not a bad beer for a NW style IPA. It's less citrus than advertized. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

In a 655 ml bottle. Two fingers of head, great aroma of hops. Nice biscuity malt, good bitterness, nice hop finish. Best IPA in Canada. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
