3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from LetsPour.com, poured into a 330ml tulip. Slightly hazy medium gold pour with a finger of pillowy white head. Pungent hop aroma. Very tropical. Pineapple, orange, grapefruit, and a touch of pine and mint. Very bitter. Sweet citrusy hops complement a base of pilsner malt, finishing very dry and resinous. Body is on the light side of medium, surprisingly drinkable. Quite flavorful but just a touch too bitter and dry for my tastes. I would call this Canada’s answer to Ruination.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap @ Tap & Barrel - Coal Harbour. Light orange pour with a white head. Melon and peach candies on the nose. Super piney and herbal. Strong citrus zest aromas. Flavor is a bit harsh in terms of bitterness. Really, really resinous and piney. Some sweet stone fruit and citrus. Notes of grapefruit and orange. Strong herbal qualities on the finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, golden amber pour with lots of thick white head. Aroma is citrus, tropical fruit, and malty sweetness. Tast is medium malty sweetness up front, what follows is a really nice balance of hop bitterness with a solid juicy finish. Very drinakable, really solid IPA.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a clean orange with a tall, pillowy white head that condenses down to small tufts of head. Aroma has a very pronounced orange with notes of mango and a very light sweetness from the grain. Flavor starts off with some good bitter astringency, melded with some alcohol flavors but quickly moves to a deep orange and tropical fruitiness. The fruitiness of the hops is very well kept as it doesn’t create any cloying sweetness that can been seen in some overhoped brews. Malt is present but adds to the overall well balanced sweetness. Body is light/modest and has a light sugary sweetness to it but just enough add some body. Overall a very tasty beer. The orange/tropical fruitiness of the beer is fantastic. Great beer!

En fut, au BierCraft. Pas mal plus goûteuse que les autres que j’ai bu précédemment au BC, avec une belle amertume fruité typique des houblons de l’ouest. Finale pétillante. Corps suffisamment étions ploie soutenir ses arômes.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at the Lamplighter Vancouver. Big on aroma, loads of pine and spruce. Coats the tongue and leaves a great dryness. Long lingering finish. $3.99 for a 17 oz. on IPA day, great price for a great beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is bright with sweet notes of tropical fruits, pine, and tangerine. Taste is a noticeable bitter. Tangerine citrus, pine, resin, and a big, bitter aftertaste. Medium body and carbonation. Slightly resiny texture. Overall pretty good but a bit one sided. Not a lot of dimension.
