Expected a lite more aroma for the style but it sill gives a nice nose. Taste well, bitter but not to harsh on hops with a well ballanced medium to full body.

650 ml bottle purchase at the LCBO on Rideau & King Edward (Ottawa) on June 30, 2016. Clear gold, small head. Hoppy creamy cereal aroma, quit malty, light notes of conifer. Dry hoppy pine taste, notes of alcohol and barley, medium bitterness. More malte, far from hoppy Nirvana!

Bottle at beerbistro. Dark golden yellow with white head. Lemon and pine aromas, with some honey and melon. Upfront honey and cantaloupe, finishing with pine. I’m not usually an IPA Person, but this is quite lovely.

pours almost clear bright gold with a nice white cap offering some retention and lacing. tons of sweet ripened peaches and nectarines, very jammy, doughy toastiness, golden honeydew melon fruitiness, no caramel per se, astringent pine sap, very clean american yeast. moderate carboantion, medium body - fairly oily; sweetish yet assertive piney finish. slightly under-attenuated. very nice fragrant and aromatic hop profile with good supporting toasted maltiness. enjoyed!

bomber. Poured hazy orange-amber with creamy off-white head. Orange citrus aroma. Full mouthfeel, soft carbonation leads you a creamy texture, slight astringent finish. Bready malt base, sweet flavour, notes of grapefruit, apricot, resiny hops slightly yeasty, warning finish.

Smell: orange peel, grapefruit, pine needle, slight musty/dank note. Taste: bittersweet, creamy mouth feel & carbonation. Finish: pine resin, caramel, fruity hop bitterness. Nicely balanced between bitter, sweet, resiny, juicy citrus flavors. (bottled 10/20/15, tasted 04/10/16)

Currently my favorite IPA in Canada. Truly a West Coast IPA in the style of Breakside IPA (Oregon). Also very similar to Burial’s (Asheville, NC) Sex Wax IPA, which describes itself as "dry west coast-style IPA". The aroma is so strong and wonderful, that I can smell it the moment I open a bottle. The color is a light golden yellow and it is best as it warms up.

Bottle - 650ml. Hazy golden body with an average, white frothy head. Hoppy aroma with flowery and mango hints. Its good hoppy taste carries herbal, citrusy, and some woody notes. Ends with a decent bitter/herbal finish. Enjoyable.
