Dark color, impenetrable, with generous strawberry-ice-cream head. Strong aroma of elderberry wine, some sourness, light ammonia. Good body strength; strong carbonation with smooth mouthfeel; berry flavor, sour without excess, but a bit too astringent, and quite bitter. Blueberry jam in the end.
Clumsy, but itís really a new thing in this part of the world.

Intense purple pour with light purple head. Aroma is tart berries, light oak, light vinegar. Intense sourness, no real sweetness. Wood, tart berries, some funk. Good.

Bottle from Gibsons LDB. As soon as it pours, I like it. The head, it is luscious thick and frothy. Lasts long. Oh, and purple. The aroma has dense fruit, blackberry and currant with boozy edge. Soft palate. Booze around the edges edges in a good way. The finish is bitter and dry. The distinguishing feature is a jamma wamma of fruit seeds. Not typical sour. Would not call it that, has a healthy malt backbone and no gimmick. Healthy malt healthy fruit. Fruit forward! Thatís it, natural bitterness of berry seeds. Best of session. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Red with a good pink head. Aroma is blackcurrant, blackberry, sour candy. Medium-light body, tar in the palate with a fruity finish. Taste is blackcurrant, blackberry, grape skins. Nice but a little one-dimensional.

Dark red pour from a tap with pink head. I smell berries and a little black current. Strong sour taste. And I am a little wasted so donít take this too seriously. I think I hate sour beers at this point in the night. Time for some good old barley wine or something.

Pours a deep purple. Aroma is currant or raspberry, no idea. Taste is... not sure, slight funk, mostly dry currant and a weird soapy something. Maybe this will get better

Bomber to taster at RBWG (thanks to whoever shared this). Looks good; a translucent cherry cola with beige lacing. Smells solid; dark malt and funk. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Solid, but nothing special.

Deep almost purple pour with pink head. Sharp acidic cherry aroma. Flavor is a much more mild sour than the aroma hints at. Flat bitter not as tart as I hoped for. Medium body with ok carbonation.
