Before I drink all of the stash, I should record some notes. 2012 bomber that's been sittin in my cellar for a while now I guess. Pure hazy ruby, no retaining cap. Aroma of raisin, licorice, wood. Taste is quite sweet. Boozy, sticky.

Bottle at Dadsgiving! Pours a clear ruby tinged amber with a thin to medium sized beige head. Sweet oxidization on the nose, malt and sweet caramel. Warm and boozy, but still rather smooth. Sweet caramel, spicy malt. Chewy malt into the finish. Lingering oxidization and chewy spice. Tasty but boozy.

Bottle:   Deep reddish caramel, thin to moderate frothy tannish head, spotty lacing.   Rich sweet biscuity and caramel nose, slight dark pitted fruit.   Rich and biscuity, bourbon notes, vanilla, graham cracker linger.   Some heat, could stand to sit for a bit.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Rich, heavy biscuity malts, caramel, bourbon, graham cracker, and dark pitted fruit.   Also a bit bready.   Good, still a little young, but worth it.   Very enjoyable.
