Bottle from Rutager, thanks! Pour a hazy brown with beige little head and no lacing. Smell of oak, vanilla, coconut, caramel, toffee. Taste is caramel, oak, booze, a bit of vanilla, a bit of leather, coconut. Full body with low carbonation. A good barleywine i wouldnt mind having again.

Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty vanilla bourbon caramel aroma. Sweetish malty spicy bourbon and caramel flavor with weak hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty woody vanilla and bourbon finish.

Bottle @ Papsoe tasting. Dark brown/amber with small tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel, toasted, little bourbon, little oak with notes of alcohol. Flavour is malt, caramel, toasted, warming, bourbon, oak, notes of alcohol, spices and wood.

Bottle @ Papsø. Pours unclear dark red with a light lacing minimal beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, glue, caramel, wood, licorice, candy, toffee, candyfloss, dark fruit, vanilla, coconut and booze. Taste is heavy sweet (near cloyingly) and medium bitter with a light acidic note. Body is medium, texture is syrupy, and carbonation is soft. Finishes overly sweet, gluey-wooden and quite alcoholic.

Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Clear deep redish - white head. High barrel, high wooden, lots of vourbon, vanilla, sweetness, ryebread notes, raisins, barley, light glue (too long time on the barrel), acid, alcoholic.

Bottle at Papsø. Hazy orange-brown coloured with a small off-white head. Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel and dried fruits with notes of alcohol. Sweet and fruity flavour of caramel, dried fruits and licorice with notes of oak and alcohol. Sweet and warming alcoholic finish.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours cloudy deep amber with a small off white head. Aroma is wooden, caramelish and light herbal. Dry caramelish and wooden, tanin. Sweet, caramelish and tanin wooden. Dry wooden and malty finish.

Bottled. A red beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a hazy nutty brown with a small off-white head. Spicy, boozy nose, quite some barrel notes. Very rich body, thick caramel and toffee, rough barrel notes, glue and wood. Very boozy finish. Quite too much wood - and booze. 150313
