Fantastic... love the fresh citrus hops. Very drinkable without being overly bitter. I wish all IPA’s could be this fresh! I also wish this could be available as I had to drive around quite a bit to round up 6 bottles.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Clear deep copper coloured body is topped by a decent, off white, fine bubbled head that recedes to a decent cover with some nice lacing. Strong bitterness offsets the toasted honey malt sweetness. Citrus and floral hop flavours are strong but not dominant and there is a somewhat grassy note apparent in the aftertaste. Medium body with moderate to strong carbonation that engages the tongue and cheeks

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Thanks to JonnyBeers again for this one! Pours a pristine golden with a medium white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of various fruits, floral, perfumey and just generally hoppy. Taste is a little sweet and pretty bitter with balance leaning toward bitter. It lingers for a good while but it is still really pleasant and never harsh. Flavors are tropical and resinous over a little caramel base. Finishes bitter and dry. Body is medium and so is carbonation. Overall a fun and really well made IPA but somehow I had higher expectations? It could use a little more aroma, really.

Bomber from Taylor in Fall CANBIF 2014. Nice clear light copper with an off white head that starts off nice and creamy and then mostly fades. A very fresh but not overwhelming somewhat herbal hop aroma with a touch of citrus, undertones of malt. Moderate carbonation and body, becomes bitter on the palate as things dry out, more resin then anything else. Quite tasty.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Smells of pine, with some spices, yeast, perfumy and a little woody. Pours golden and clear.
Tastes really good, bitter but balanced and we'll executed. Less malt flavour than fat tug. Notes include melon, stone fruit and citrus. The body is medium, carbonation is high. The finish is dry, and bitter, with a lasting dryness that makes it much to easy to drink. If there was anything that needs some work, I would say it is the finish, a bit too aggressive, but with the thin body, likely difficult to pull off.
Amazing? They turned down the malt and let the hops speak, this ale is lighter in colour and body than Fat Tug, but a crowd pleaser. The finish is a bit dryer and the fresh hops make this brew very colourful.
I want all my IPAs to taste like this.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle to sam adams glass, beer pours a mostly transparent golden amber with a few floaties. Head is pretty well sustained and is bright white leaving quite the lacing on the glass. Aroma is strong orange peel, pine, tree sap with a bit of earthyness and a herbal quality in the background. Taste is quite good with a good match of sweet to bitter though I thought this would have more hop intensity; instead the freshness and flavour shine through. Palate is good...it tastes great. Mouthfeel is thin, co2 is medium and balance to the bitter side of things. Overall a great beer...bit too hyped up but still absolutely solid.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is my third year of drinking Sartori’s Harvest, and I must say that it was yet another great fresh hop release from Driftwood - certainly well worth the wait. This beer exposes a cornucopia of grapefruit and citrus derived hop aroma to the nose coupled with that lush green, fresh hop aroma. Lacing and head retention exceptional. Medium-gold colour, white head and relatively bright. I find that Centennial alone can be quite one-dimensional, though Driftwood has once again managed to create a very well-balanced and crisp base for which to showcase the fresh hop. Bitterness lingers slightly/ is medium-heavy with very little residual sweetness. Possibly the best beer in BC.

Wonderful golden color, hazy, with bright light, and medium sized compact head. The aroma is initially quite grassy; it mellows out then, and it also shows some sign of asian food, and wild animal. Smooth mouthfeel, semi-dry; the malt flavor doesn’t seem to be of any interest, the hops have a hay and gras character; strong bitterness, but some mess in the end.
Confirmed tat this year’s version is far from spectacular; it’s still a good beer.
2014-09-28, draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver, 7-4-7-4-14=36
Hazy golden color with compact head. Nice hop aroma, a bit earthy and grassy; good mouthfeel, soft pale malt flavor, light residual sweetness, grassy hops.
2014-09-25, cask at Tap & Barrel, Coal Harbor, Vancouver, 7-4-7-4-15=37
Golden to light amber color, hazy, with compact head. Nice aroma, milder than expected though, with bready malt and sweaty hop, a bit earthy, almost British. Good body structure, and correctly carbonated; the mouthfeel is smooth; lean malt flavor, suitable background for IPAs, with light colored caramel and toasty notes; very strong bitterness, strong resiny character from the hop, also fairly grassy and earthy, not fruity. The final is very long, but with woody (vegetable) notes too.
A very solid IPA, should I say that it’s less fresh and less impressive than expected?

Hazy golden color. The aroma is nice, bread, cereals and hop. Lean, zesty, with good malt profile and good hopping, minty and resiny.
Fresh must be fantastic, can’t wait to try the next batch.
