3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle... Poured amber, rusty orange with a thick head. Big hop bomb here. Loads of bitterness with grassy, citrus and piney hops. Quite resinous and a lingering bitterness towards the finish. Light fruits and mild malts, but nothing to balance this hopheadís delight.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Strong hop aroma of resin and pine. Not much in the way of citrus comes through. Very clear with a nice amber colour. Flavour is immediately hop-driven with almost no residual sweetness. Some biscuity malt comes through in the middle followed by intense bitterness on the back end. Bitterness lingers for at least an hour after you finish the beer. Great strong IPA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
herbal, floral and grassy notes balance nicely in the nose. clear golden copper coloured body is topped by a low off-white head with some lacing Really nicely balanced. Strong flavours offset each other well. medium full body with fair to moderate carbonation. I think I really like this one, and will have to give it another go...

Bottle. Big head on copper. Lots of alcohol. Herbal mintiness (maybe herbal eucalyptus).

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
(650 ml bottle) Purchased at The Strath in Victoria, B.C. Pours a deep orange hue body that is heavily carbonated beneath a lasting thin white foamy head. Nose of pure pine needle resin. The flavor is a concussion of Cascadian proportions: so orange, pine and Amarillo. Strong ABV base and malt backing. Very impressed overall.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a dark amber colour with a nice thick off white head. Aroma is citrus and light grapefruit. Taste is citrus bitterness at the start then almost a flat / light in the body and almost no alc for 9 percent. overall a good hoppy beer not really great maybe a little more sweetness to balance

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Thanks jhunter for bringing this across the country.
Copper pour with a quick medium head.
aroma is super fruity citrus. bit of earthiness. light toffee
body is surprisingly light for a 9% DIPA. A bit one dimensional but nice and bitter for sure.
Resinous bitterness prominent. Pithy citrus, Some caramel sweetness in there but not enough.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22oz bottle from 16th St.Liquor in West Vancouver. Pours an orange hued amber with thin ring of khaki head. Aroma is pungent citrus hops, very much like Red Racer IPA on steroids (which is saying something!). Some faint malt in the background. Taste is lusciously thick with chewy citrus hops, some pine, fairly potent alcohol hit followed by a tiny malt back. Finish is pot like, resinous and bitter. Wow! It really is a hop bomb...but perhaps a tad too rough. I crave more malt to balance out the ferocious hops...but over all itís very enjoyable.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
750ml bottle. Decent pour with good head and an average gold-copper clear body. The smell of hops is palpable, possibly one of the smelliest beers Iíve come across. Mostly steeping hops methinks, but the fact that you can smell the hops across the room is a very good thing. The flavour is a tiny hint of malt followed by a hop-bomb aftertaste - sweet hops to start and bitter hops invading your mouth on the finish. I found it well balanced nonetheless, though Iím not a big hop-bomb fan. This is a very good double-IPA - extra points for the fact that the 9% alcohol is virtually nonexistent.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver
Amber color, bright, with a medium sized creamy head, persistent. Impressive aroma, hoppy, but also earthy with arrogance; lemony resins and manure, very pungent.
It has a good body strength, with caramel flavor, some toffee too; the sweetness is present but moderate; very powerful hopping, with loads of piney resins and some bitter orange peel; the alcohol is evident, and itís a nice complement in this concoction; the final is extremely long.
Very well constructed hop bomb.
