This traditional Belgian-style wheat ale is brewed with the addition of freshly-ground coriander and Curacao orange peel. Citrus and floral aromas outshine the hops and dominate the nose of this dry and quaffable beer, while the use of raw wheat adds cloudiness and enhances its mouthfeel.

UPDATED: AUG 23, 2015 Hints of bread, citrus, floral, woody smells. Pale yellow, hazy, sparkling appearance. Minimal head. A medium amount of sweetness, lightly bitter, certainly citrus flavors, lightly sour, medium body, creamy, fizzy, lively, long finish. Easy drinking summer beer.

ENG: 650ml bottle from Liquor Mart in Winnipeg, poured into the tulip. Straw, opalescent color and white, dissipating head. Aromas are very subtle, a bit clovy, a bit yeasty, a bit citrusy and a bit hoppy. There is some orange but hidden. Well balanced but could be more intense. Tastes lemony, with clovy finish and lemony-bitter aftertaste. Medium carbonation, low body. Some kind of oily feeling. Overall a bit too subtle flavors, but balanced, very refreshing.

PL: Butelka 650ml kupiona w Liquor Mart w Winnipeg, przelana do tulipa. Barwa słomkowa, mocno opalizująca, piana jasna, zanikająca. Aromaty dość delikatne, nieco goździkowe, nieco drożdżowe, nieco cytrusowe i chmielowe. W tle ukryta jest pomarańcza. Fajnie to wszystko zbalansowane, ale wg. mnie mogło by być intensywniej. W smaku cytrynowe, z goździkowym zakończeniem i cytrynowo-goryczkowym posmakiem. Średnie nasycenie, niskie, nieco oleiste odczucie w ustach. Podsumowując nieco zbyt delikatne, ale fajnie zbalansowane, bardzo orzeźwiające.

Drinking from a 650 cl bottle. Nice citrus aroma, hints of oranges, wheat, tropical fruits. The unclear pale yellow beer has a medium white head. In the taste also tropical fruits, grainy as you would expect, witbier as you always would want it to be. High carbonated.

Aroma is light grains, citrus, and clove. Taste is pale grains and honey , finishes with slight bitterness. Appearance is a cloudy gold body with a thin pearl head that retains fairly poorly. Pretty disappointing, nothing of particular significance here.

Bottle (650 ml). From Canbif box, thanks Paul! Split 2-ways with Minderbinder.

Appearance: Hazy yellow with a small white head and little lacing.

Aroma: Spices forward (mostly coriander) along citrus/orange notes, floral presence, wheat... rather soft.

Taste: Moderately spicy (coriander again) with floral notes, citrus, wheat, light acidity and hints of soap.

Palate: Light to medium body. Medium carbonation. Coriander finish. Light but nice citrus and acidity kick at the end.

Overall: Soft and easy drinking (thanks to the light acidic presence). A tad too much coriander for my liking. Decent.

mild citrus and wheaty taste. Worst part is it considers itself a Belgian Wit, which evokes an expectation it should be sharper.
