MoritzF (7386) - Bochum, GERMANY - JAN 23, 2011
(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, pale golden colour with a big and dense foamy white head. Slightly yeasty, pale malty aroma with profound notes of citrus and lemon peel, accompanied by a mildly soapy touch of coriander and traces of herbal hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a spritzy carbonation. Pale malt-character with citric and zesty notes; slightly sweet, fruity and mildly spicy finish with a little fizz. Likeable but not an outstanding Belgian Ale. 18.I.11

33cl bottle from Dranken Geers. Hazy orange gold with a thickish off white head. Bit of a fresh aroma. Very decent blond. Nothing too exciting, but having had a dozen of this type of beer over the past 24 hours or so, this is one of the better ones. It’s got a decent yeast aroma, and then some very good character in the mouth and then the finish has some good candied tangerine flavour. Drank on a Sunday evening whilst typing this on my laptop in the kitchen whilst listening to Collings and Herrin podcasts.
