From bottle at the Pembury Tavern, Hackney, 31 July 2009. Spiced with cinnamon & ginger but the cinnamon dominates. A bit over the top. Very sweet too. Not really my thing.

Bottle 75cl.
Clear medium to dark yellow color with virtually none head. Aroma is light to moderate honey, moderate to heavy spicy, ginger, cinnamon. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and spicy - cinnamon - danish brown cake (brunkager) with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20090731]

Bottled@The Pembury Tavern. Pale yellow colour, no head. Aroma is honey, ginger, cinnamon and some mild sweet juiceconcentratelike notes. Flavour is honey, cinnamon, ginger and some other sweetish spices. The ginger gives a really strong spicy and stinging flavour in the finish. At first quite herbal but turns into smooth honeyish spiced.
