draft at Denver Bicycle Cafe. clear chestnut brown body with a fine tan colored head. medium-light body with soft malt and sort carbonation present a wonderfully nut, brown sugar, wheat cracker starch and toasted bread crust flavor with mild yeast esters (banana, dried peach). quenching acid, good balance, medium sweetness, it all works very well together.

Tap. Pours clear brown with a medium, fizzy tan head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is caramel and cookie malt, faint chocolate notes with earthy hops and dates. Flavor is malt dominant with light hops and bitterness, light fruity esters and a sweet finish. Light body and medium carbonation.

Clear nutty amber with a foamy light khaki head. The aroma kinda has some grainy malty toffee, and little else. Flavor is much the same with just a hint of caramel/cocoa sweetness. Mouthfeel s a little light though. Not a bad beer, just the kind of brown ale that makes me bored of brown ales.

Pour on tap at the brewery, slightly hazy reddish brown pour with thin off white head, aroma brought notes of slight caramel, toffee, earth and some grass, hints of nuts, slight cocoa. Taste is a bit watery, slight caramel and earth tones, slight hint of cocoa and nuts, finishing with a slight earthy bitterness.
