Not a bad beer at all. Strange there are so many poor ratings as I think DDA is a good, medium-bodied flavorful session beer. It tastes a bit like a red and has a a bit of sweetness.

Pours a clear amber/copper with little head retention. The nose is mostly dominated by molasses with some biscuity malt also. Taste is so-so malts are the highlight with some mild hop bittering in the finish. Pretty light bodied and easy drinking. Not a huge fan.

Faint aroma of toasted? Malt. Nice red-brown pour. Taste is a good sweet (not overly) drink of malt with light caramel Nice palate for an amber. Nothing wrong with this one

I could catch an almost instant pleasant waft once the metallic top was peeled back and a short breeze of ale smells went off. The color amber has also in it, a reddish cast as poured into a 12 ounce glass shaped english. Given without any rushing, I imagine, this ale has a consistently different taste per swallow.
@ 1 of the spirit vendors I frequent, (going in with another intent of what to buy) if you buy 12’r, you get bomber free! is why you are reading this.
It’s a fine ale, fine.

Out of the can and into a frosty tall glass, that ale looks great with a nice amber color. Great head. Great taste with a bit of caramel flavors. Finishes well. Reminds me of Wynkoop's Rail Yard.
