(Draught) clear deep brown, very little head. Nose of big whiskey, dark chocolate, marshmallow, smells nice. Taste of raisin, overly sweet, very light roast, unique but doesn’t make it a great beer. A miss for me.

Hope this the right listing. Rackhouse just had it labeled as barrel aged imperial stout with vanilla On cask at the Rackhouse Pub, this sounded like it would be really good, it was not. Black color, scan head, looks fine. The smell was cloying, syrupy vanilla, just ughh, not good at all. The taste was also more cloying vanilla, no barrel, no spirit, no stout, Cream soda and vanilla extract. I am seriously surprised this made it out of the brewery but hey people have different palates. This was a serious let down but at least it was pint night and I got a free Dry Dock hefe glass. Tap. Pours opaque with a small, frothy tan head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is oak, bourbon, raisins, figs and prunes with roast and chocolate malt and spicy hops. Flavor is malt dominant with sweet fruity esters, light hops and bitterness, bourbon, vanilla and oak with a sweet finish. Full body and medium carbonation.

On Handpull at Hops and Pie poured a clear dark reddish rown with a small lasting brown head. Aromas of bourbon, oak, dark chocolate and light roastiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of oak, bourbon, dark chocolate, vanilla and light roastiness with a smooth lingering chocolate bourbon finish.
